w3 schools is a very good website when you want to learn web design from scratch without and knowledge of the html. it has long detailed tutorials and gives you long descriptive explanations. It goes into depth about how to do something

This is a beginner html tutorial so it just teaches simple coding and won´t teach you anyything beyond that level so I would recommend it and also at the same time not recommend it if your looking to learn a lot
